Course Description

This short course introduces the key principles of the Core Knowledge approach. Educators will explore how the curriculum’s coherent and cumulative design supports equity, cross-curricular learning, and instructional alignment across grade levels.

• Describe how the cumulative nature of the Core Knowledge Sequence affects instruction within and across grade levels.
• Provide examples of how cross-curricular instruction impacts student learning.
