Returns Policy for the Core Knowledge Store

We are dedicated to providing you with high-quality materials and customer service. Before purchasing Core Knowledge® materials, please review our returns policy.

 

 

We accept returns within 30 days of receipt.

 

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

Please open all packages promptly upon arrival and check the contents against the packing slip included in your order.

 

Returns and Exchanges

You may exchange or return items for store credit within 30 days of receipt. For standard exchanges, shipping charges will apply for the replacement item.

 

Returns Requested After 30 Days

Returns requested more than 30 days after receipt are not guaranteed and require prior approval. Core Knowledge may approve a return if the items are in new, unused, resalable condition.

 

Approved returns after 30 days are subject to:

  • Customer-paid return shipping
  • A 10% restocking fee
  • Review and approval by Core Knowledge before the return is processed

Please contact Customer Service before shipping any items back to us. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

 

Mistaken, Defective, or Damaged Goods

If you find that there has been a shipping error, such as an item not received, wrong item, wrong quantity, etc., or you have received a damaged or defective product, you are welcome to request an exchange or refund within 30 days of receipt.

For a damaged or defective item, we may ask you to provide photos of the damage. Please report any defective or damaged goods promptly so that we can work quickly to resolve the issue.

 

Shipping

Shipping charges are not refundable.

 

Sets and Kits

When returning a product purchased as a kit or set, all components must be returned together.

 

Items Not Accepted for Return

Shrink-wrapped and software items that have been opened are not returnable.

 

Custom, Large, or Subsidized Orders

Custom orders, special print orders, and items that are no longer available for resale are not eligible for return. Returns from resellers are also not accepted.

Large orders, custom orders, special print orders, and subsidized orders may require additional review before a return can be approved. In some cases, these orders may not be eligible for return, or a standard 10% restocking fee may not be sufficient to cover associated costs.

You will need to provide:
  • Your name, address, and Customer ID number or invoice number
  • Reason for return or exchange
  • Confirmation that the items are new, unused, and in resalable condition, if applicable

We will work with you to determine whether the return or exchange can be accepted and, if approved, the best way to return items to us and process any applicable replacement, credit, or refund.
