Focus:
This unit begins with a review of map skills and geographical terms. Students learn about the benefits and resources provided by lakes, including the Caspian and Aral Seas in Asia; Lakes Victoria, Tanganyika, and Chad in Africa; Lakes Maracaibo and Titicaca in South America; and Lakes Superior, Huron, Michigan, Erie, and Ontario in North America.
