CKLA Unit 6: American Revolution
Focus:
The American Revolution focuses on the disagreements about principles of government that led the colonists in North America to seek independence from Great Britain. The causes, significant figures, and consequences of the American Revolution provide a framework for understanding why the colonies broke away and became an independent nation. They help explain the fundamental ideas and values at the heart of the Revolution. Students will review the stages of the writing process and engage in an extended writing project.
