From the Bookshelf™ is a free, interactive library for young readers, teachers, and parents that features high quality children’s books written by award-winning authors. Voices in History™ is the flagship series of From the Bookshelf™. It is a collection of Biographies written by acclaimed children’s authors. Voices in History is a highly engaging and thought-provoking biographical series that reveals the full and fantastic lives of some of history’s most incredible people: scientists and artists, leaders and inventors, authors and athletes. Young readers will no doubt find inspiration in their actions, their voices, and their determination to make a difference. Each book includes discussion questions as an opportunity for discussion and debate.
