Exploring and Moving to America introduces students to the beginnings of America. They learn the about Columbus’s voyages, the settlement of the Pilgrims, the struggle for independence, and the sorrowful history of slavery. They see the first encounters with Native Americans, meet George Washington, and learn about the Declaration of Independence.
