CKSci student Readers engage students in reading in the content area. Supported by scientifically accurate photographs and illustrations, the Readers for Grades 3–5 are appropriate for middle to upper elementary school students. In addition to clear and thorough text, the student Readers have sidebars the pose Big Questions, emphasize vocabulary, and present interesting scientific facts. Glossaries at the end of the Readers allow students easy access to new scientific vocabulary.
