Student Reader: Third Grade Skills Unit 3

The Student Reader for Unit 3 is titled How Does Your Body Work?  It includes complex text and prepares students for increased vocabulary and syntax demands in later grades. For this unit, students read selections that further their scientific understanding of the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems of the human body. Students also take an in-depth look at the senses of sight and hearing and associated body parts.
