A website that’s been around for many years is like a garage in a long-occupied house—stuff piles up, accumulates, gets stacked on top of and behind things. It may be good stuff, but it can be hard to find or out of date. Sometimes you just have to roll up your sleeves and undertake a good spring cleaning.
Among other things, that’s what we’ve been doing here at Core Knowledge. With up-to-date technologies and tools (and help from the good folks at Wired Impact, a company that specializes in building websites for nonprofit organizations), we’ve just launched our new website. On our old website, downloading CKLA materials was a bit of a roundabout process—you had to use a download management tool that generated an email that gave you access to the files you wanted. On the new website, you can directly download CKLA materials. You can select complete units or individual resources—they’re ready and waiting.
