Denial of Core Knowledge Official School Designation

The Core Knowledge Foundation has full discretion to deny or revoke Core Knowledge Official School designation to any applicant school. If a school’s application for designation as a Core Knowledge Official School is denied, the Core Knowledge Foundation will provide a summary report documenting the reasons for denial.

Denial decisions by the Core Knowledge Foundation are final and not subject to appeal.

Reconsideration for designation may occur only if at least two years have elapsed since the previous application / denial. At this time, the applicant school must meet the current requirements for Core Knowledge Official School designation.
