The Anaheim Marriott is the official hotel of the 17th Core Knowledge National Conference.

• $169 per night, single/double occupancy
• $20 per person, per night, additional person

Reservations must be made no later than Oct. 27, 2008 in order to receive the conference room rate.

Lodging reservations at the Anaheim Marriott must be made with a credit card. The Marriott does not accept purchase orders to confirm reservations or as payment for lodging. There will be no charges made to the credit card used until checkout. You do have the option to pay with a school check at this time rather than the credit card used for the reservation.

To avoid delays at check-out and charges on your credit card, the Marriott will accept payment for all reserved rooms prior to your group's arrival. Please email for more details.

TRANSPORTATION

American Airlines has offered a 5% discount off the lowest applicable published fare to all conference attendees. The discount applies to travel between John Wayne Orange County International Airport (SNA), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport (BUR), Ontario California International Airport (ONT) and U. S. destinations only. Travel must occur between Nov. 17–25, 2008.

Book your travel on line at www.AA.com or by calling the American Airlines Meeting Services Desk at 1-800-433-1790. Refer to promotion code A32N8AF to receive the Core Knowledge National Conference discount. The promotion code must be entered in the “Promotion Code” field located at the bottom of the “Reservation” page at www.AA.com.

Southwest Airlines offers discounted travel to groups traveling at the same time from the same airport.

Karmel Shuttle Transportation

Karmel Shuttle Service is the preferred shuttle service for the 2008 Core Knowledge National Conference. Karmel will provide your group of 5 or more conference attendees with a private shuttle and a 15% discount on regular shuttle service rates between the Anaheim Marriott Hotel and LAX and SNA airports.

Please contact Karmel directly for reservations. The Core Knowledge Foundation does not plan to provide shuttle service for conference attendees at this time.
