Westward Ho!
The Knowledge Frontier Begins in San Antonio

SACVB/Nancy H. Belcher

The allure of the Western Frontier has been an essential part of the American experience for hundreds of years. Unique qualities of the American Indian, Hispanic, and cowboy cultures come together in San Antonio, the host city of the 15th Core Knowledge National Conference. Let San Antonio and Core Knowledge become your gateway to the limitless Knowledge Frontier.

SACVB/Craig Stafford

The official conference hotels are the Marriott Rivercenter and Riverwalk, steps away from San Antonio’s famed River Walk. Special rates are available, so be sure to mention Core Knowledge when you make your reservations with the hotels. We expect over 2,200 attendees and 50 exhibitors to join us February 23-25, 2006. We hope that you are able to add your energy and enthusiasm for learning to the group!

Here are a few of the highlights that will help make this conference a memorable experience.

One last thing… Tours of Core Knowledge schools will be conducted on Thursday February 23. Reservations are limited and the cost $30/person, so call or email for details.

If you’re excited and energized about our conference, you’ll want to visit our website, www.coreknowledge.org/conference or call 1-800-238-3233, ext. 222 for more information. The 2006 Core Knowledge National Conference brochure will be posted on September 1. We are here to answer your questions, take your comments, and start you on your way to a GREAT LEARNING EXPERIENCE surrounded by the charm, warmth, and culture of San Antonio.
